What We Do

The ECU Health Physicians Office of Training & Engagement is responsible for providing and facilitating programs and services to help individuals and departments, within ECU Health Physicians, achieve their professional development and compliance training needs. In addition, the ECU Health Physicians Office of Training & Engagement works in partnership with the Department of Human Resources to promote campus wide professional development and new employee orientation training initiatives.

The ECU Health Physicians Office of Training & Engagement is responsible for:

• Designing, facilitating and managing mandatory ECU Health Physicians New Employee Orientation trainings.
• Providing clinical staff and ambulatory healthcare providers training and development based off of organizational and/or departmental needs. • Coordinating and facilitating Basic Life Support (BLS) training courses for ECU Health Physicians faculty and staff. To register, please login to Cornerstone using your PirateID and password and search for “BLS”.
• Maintaining the ECU Health Physicians Policies and Procedures SharePoint site
