Heart and Vascular Care – Vascular Surgery – What We Offer

The vascular surgeons in the ECU Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery specialize in the diagnosis and management of multiple vascular conditions that affect all of the arteries and veins in the body outside of the arteries in the heart.

ECU vascular surgery is your one-stop shop for comprehensive management of all diseases of the vascular system. We provide comprehensive services including the latest minimally invasive catheter-based interventions as well as traditional open surgical operations. Additionally, we focus on prescribing medications and pursuit of healthy lifestyles for our patients to prevent the progression of their vascular disease. When a procedure is required, patients can be certain that our facilities at the East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU and ECU Health Medical Center include the latest cutting-edge technology and a comfortable environment conducive to your treatment and recovery.

We are among the highest volume, most comprehensive vascular surgeons in the southeastern United States. We are an active “2 Star” participant in the Vascular Quality Initiative, a collaboration between regional quality improvement groups across the country and the Society for Vascular Surgery Patient Safety Organization. Being members of these national quality groups helps us track the outcomes of our procedures to ensure that we provide the highest quality, most up-to-date, evidence-based care to our patients with vascular disease.
