Family Medicine – Behavioral Medicine – Services
The Behavioral Medicine Service is a part of the medical team to provide convenient, team-based care for our patients and their families.
- Integrated Care – Behavioral Health (BH) Providers are available to meet with patients during medical appointments to help patients make changes to improve emotional well-being and health.
- Behavioral Medicine Clinic – short-term therapy is used to help patients make behavior change related to health, adjust to medical conditions or other life events, and manage stress and emotions.
- Caregiver support group – free monthly caregiver support groups for patients of family medicine who provide care for a loved one
- Bariatric Evals – pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients referred by their bariatric surgeon
