Psychiatry – Consultation Liaison Services
Located in ECU Health Medical Center, psychology providers from ECU Physicians and ECU Health are integrated into the Psychiatry Consultation/Liaison (C/L) team and are involved in most of the essential services provided by this team in the Emergency Department and other inpatient units of ECU Health Medical Center.
Services provided include psychotherapy, capacity evaluation, brief IQ and neuropsychological testing, differential diagnosis (e.g., mood, substance use, functional neurological disorders), psychoeducation, and adherence.
